The methodology of inference from “Al-Aadat al-Muhkamat” in “Imdad ul Fatawa”

Abstract

In the history of Islam, the work and name of Islamic jurisprudence is very bright, radiant and    valuable. If it is claimed that Islam is a perfect religion, it has complete instructions and guidance for every field and aspect of human life, then a question rises; what is the rationale behind this great claim? So, in answer to this question, we can present the entire jurisprudential effort and hard work of our jurists. In Islamic jurisprudence, the unique knowledge of the rules of jurisprudence is also a product of the thoughts and ideas of the jurists and Mujtahidin, which accomplishes the feat of explaining all the confusing jurisprudential issues and keeping them safe from the sand of time. With changing times new problems emerged and their solution were sought from the rules of jurisprudence and were narrated in Imdad-Ul-Fatawa.  Among these rules is Al-Aadat-o- Mohakma. This paper describes the details of it.
