Abstract

Veda means knowledge and wisdom. The word is often used to refer to the collection of knowledge and wisdom of the ancient Brahmanas, which included four sacred books; Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, Atharaveda. All four Vedas are considered Shruti which means revealed. But based on so many insider testimonials, we don't think it's right to consider them revelaed. There are several different texts of the Vedas known as Shakhain branches. The language of the Vedas is ancient hindi language or Vedic language and is older than Sanskrit. The compilation period of vedas is from 1500 to 500 BC. The first Veda is the "Rigveda". Rig has also been used to refer to verses, mantras, praises and celebrations, while the term Rigveda means the Veda of praise songs. The rest of the Veda repeats this. Yajur is derived from Yaj and means sacrifice. It contains Rig spells divided into different sections. Its two parts are the black Yajur and the white Yajur. Sama comes from saman which means song. In this Veda, most of the Rigveda is arranged in the form of different mantras and melodies. Athara is associated with fire, either with the priest who started the fire worship or with the priests of the Angara and Atharava families, who are known to have compiled the Atharaveda.
